A lot people sleep on the streets in the old downtown area of Cebu City. Most set out a strip of cardboard or some thin plywood to make a bed. These children came up with the idea of sleeping in a traffic island, where many pedestrians wait for the lights to change. They set out a little cup to ask for change. They would be sleeping on the pavement somewhere anyway, so why not sleep here and perhaps collect some money during the night?
