I took these pictures shortly after I arrived in the Philippines. I had chosen to land in Legazpi instead of Manila. I wanted to land in a smaller place so that it would be less stressful. It was a very wise decision because Legazpi was a friendly place and I was able to assemble my bike at the airport easily and really take my time. I had WAY too much stuff with me and it could barely fit on the bike. Within a short time, I had put together a box of extra gear and shipped it away to lighten my load. I tracked down a hostel in Legazpi and stayed in a dorm room there as I got organized.
